"Education is not simply the process of acquiring knowledge. It is the foundation upon which young people develop their character, confidence and ability to contribute meaningfully to society. At Cambridge International School, we believe that every child possesses unique potential, and our responsibility is to create an environment in which that potential can be recognised and transformed into achievement."

Since our establishment in 2017, Cambridge International School has continued to grow with the trust and support of our parents, the dedication of our teachers and the enthusiasm of our students. Our journey has always been guided by our commitment to providing quality international education while remaining firmly rooted in the values, traditions and cultural diversity of Sri Lanka. Our vision extends beyond academic excellence.

Through a balanced approach to education, we encourage our students to think independently, communicate effectively, embrace diversity and pursue lifelong learning. As a school serving a vibrant and multicultural community such as Trincomalee, we recognise the importance of creating an inclusive educational environment where every student feels valued and respected. We believe that diversity is a strength and that education should prepare children not only to succeed in examinations, but also to become compassionate and responsible members of society.

I sincerely thank our parents for entrusting us with the education and development of their children, and I commend our teachers and staff for their unwavering dedication. Most importantly, I encourage our students to dream boldly, work diligently and always remain true to themselves. Together, let us continue to nurture knowledge, character and talent, and empower the next generation to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Student Pastoral & Moral Leadership

"As educators, we have the privilege and responsibility of guiding young minds during some of the most important years of their lives. At Cambridge, we believe that education is much more than academic achievement. Our commitment is to provide every student with a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where they are encouraged to learn, explore, question and grow."

As an international school in the heart of Trincomalee, we are proud to provide an education that looks towards the world while remaining firmly connected to our Sri Lankan identity, values and diverse cultural heritage. We encourage our students to respect different cultures and perspectives, communicate with confidence and develop an open and responsible outlook towards the world around them.

Our motto, “Trust, Truth & Talent,” reflects the values we hope every Cambrite will carry throughout life. We want our students to grow into individuals who can be trusted, who value truth and integrity, and who recognise and use their talents with purpose. May every Cambrite continue to learn with curiosity, lead with confidence and live with purpose.
